Another Beach
Another Beach (2023) Acrylic on board (30 x38 cm). Inspired by a visit to Crosby Beach which is the site of Anthony Gormley’s Another Place. I took photos of the patterns of pebbles in the sand as I walked along the beach between each of his sculptures. The blue represents the cold, vast coastline and the tide which submerges and then reveals the metal figures.
